Mastering Your Adult ADHD – Support Group
Welcome to the Mastering Your Adult ADHD Support Group!
Thank you for your interest in our Cognitive-Behavioral Treatment Group Education Program, where we believe “Pills Won’t Give You Skills.” Led by facilitator Dawn O’Meally, MSW, LCSW-C, P.A., this program aims to equip you with concrete strategies and skills to manage Adult ADHD effectively.
About the Group:
“Mastering Your Adult ADHD” is a comprehensive program addressing the risks of untreated ADHD, including Low Self-Esteem, Anxiety, Relationship Problems, Job Instability, Substance Use, and even Increased Mortality.
Program Structure:
Weekly Meetings: Participants will meet weekly for 11 group psychoeducational sessions on ZOOM.
Active Group Process: Each session will have a structured agenda, homework review, skill development, and dynamic discussion.
Skill Development: Participants will work on one skill at a time, with practice in-between sessions being highly important.
Client Workbook: Participants will receive a weekly homework assignment from the client workbook.
Progress Monitoring: Weekly progress will be monitored using the “ADHD Current Symptom Scale.”

Duration: March 4, 2024 – June 10, 2024
Time: 7:30 PM – 9:00 PM (ZOOM)
Cost: $350 – Maryland Residents may be covered under insurance plan
Format: 11 sessions, 1.5 hrs. each
