About: ATTENTION! If you are a caregiver to a child or children ages 0-7 years of age, this psychoeducational group is for you! Developed by Drs. John and Julie Gottman, this program consists of a video series and workbook to educate parents and caregivers on how to establish skills in becoming an effective Emotional Coach for their children.
“Magic Moments” between parents and children occur through emotion and connection, and this program is designed to help you become more aware of emotion and know what to do with them in order to create these “Magic Moments”.
Children have many emotions that they will express in many ways, and this program will bring understanding, patience, and connection between yourself and your child. You will also learn why Emotional Intelligence (or EQ) is a strong predictor of your child’s success in life, and how to help your child learn these vital skills.
